2011 dodge charger vs. 2011 ralliart
So its time for me to get an awd vehicle......since i trust no other auto makers but dodge or mitsu, ive narrowed it down to either the new charger or the ralliart.
The new charger has a v6 with 300hp and some. New fuel saving awd system. They come with a standard "slapstick" automatic.
Then theres our ralliart with the twin clutch auto/manual, awd. And 237hp w/turbo.
Now that the time has come to choose....i am once again begging for help on a decision.....firstly, let me say that niether one of these cars come with a manual transmission so im very dissapointed, and honestly thats the only reason why i cant choose. I need an affordable awd car thats reliable and fast....but not track fast...just...."dont mess with me cuz youll eat my dust" fast....

I just bought a 2011 Ralliart and damn I love it! I was supposed to buy a Subaru until i test drove one of these. I look at Chargers and feel dominant. Ralliart is lighter too and will handle alot better. Plus if you were to buy any American muscle car....you dont get anything but a V8.
Since you're looking at the awd trims of the charger, have you considered spending a few grand more and opening up a lot more options?
There's the C300 4matic, g37x, ex35, SHO. Like someone else said, the awd chargers are in Evo territory and then it's no contest.

I have gone through this same process. I started with the RALLIART. Moved to the Charger but hated the 4x4 look (the new one has this fixed supposedly).
I ended up with the EVO X GSR.
My two cents, it depends on what you want. The CHARGER is the bigger car for sure. It can haul more and has was more passenger room. It rides well and the seats are comfortable. You will need the HEMI for the AWD though. I doubt it gets as good of mileage as the RA, but that ain't saying much.
If it were me, and the X MR is out due to price, I would get the Charger (you are going to be able to get one for less than MSRP). Yes, I know which forum I am on. I just think the Charger is a nicer car. Neither company are going to wow you with quality and warranty help.

If you don't mind buying used, you could go with a Volvo S60R. Turbo, AWD, 5 cylinder (found in the Euro spec. Focus RS). Luxurious inside and out, Brembo brakes, and 5-speed manual, race inspired suspension (which is MUCH more advanced than the Ralliart has). Beautiful car. Top Gear even did a segment on it. My buddy has one and I love it.
