No secret. I'm **** about maintenance, tires inflated to 35psi, yada, yada. All the weight reduction (on a regular day with the interior all in-place and me in the car, it still weighs under 3500lbs) and efficiency that benefits me at the track helps with fuel economy as well.
And then the car is tuned, as most are, to optimize volumetric efficiency. This obviously increases available power at wot but also allows for the least amount of work to sustain steady-state driving.
This is being debated in the mpg thread ( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...71049-mpg.html ) in the general section at the moment, too, so you can come tell me how wrong I am over there if you like. I'm not by any means claiming that I average 35mpg throughout an entire tank of gas, but specifically highway mileage only.

I had my car recently worked on by CBRD to do the evo x swap and cant wait to see it tomorrow. So excited about the results. Oh and Chads shop is topnotch very clean and orderly. Looks amazing.
Very nice write up and congrats on your new additions and great times
. I don't know much about the RA's but I find it pretty cool that Chad and the guys are makeing upgraded parts for them and putting up pretty damn good results so congrats to them as well.

Darn-it Chad, I was trying to keep 'em in suspense just awhile longer...

So here are a couple quick pics (yeah, I know they're huge). What a beauty!

I can't wait to get this on and see what kind of improvements are made once I can build and hold boost a little more efficiently with this. I have a couple more goodies in-mind before next season gets rolling, too, but those are still just in the idea stage so far.
