OEM Headlights on 2010 Ralliart?
OEM Headlights on 2010 Ralliart?
I just got a Ralliart.. Can anyone tell me if the OEM head lights are supposed to be HID? I found some of the wiring to look aftermarket.. Wire to a relay from the positive of the battery..
I would like to return back to what is supposed to be stock lights because the previous owner had the headlights tinted and then scraped the tint off with a razor blade.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks

Ralliarts come with either HIDs or Halogens, the shape of the headlight assembly indicates clearly which is the case (HIDs are projectors with lenses, halogens look like traditional headlights with the bulb visible).
Yes.
You should find two connectors near the bulbs once you remove ( &sell the harness
) just hook them back up to the bulbs.
OR - if you prefer not having daytime running lights - just leave the harness alone (or if you might add HID in the future).
Keep checking the FS section for light lens - patience will save quite a bit of $$...
OR consider wet sanding and polishing to repair the lens you have.

^might as well try. 'Nothing to lose', eh?
Start with highest grit you can get away with.
See if 600 grit wet gets most of the damage. The go to 1000.
Then use the same steps for 'fixing hazed lens' (either buy a kit or just keep stepping up through rubbing compound, polishing compound, Megueirs clear...)
