I have 09 ralliart with 55,000 miles on it. sst failed at 40,000 got that replaced and haven't had any issues with it since! Change engine oil ever 3,000 miles and now my car is tuned so I have to be very carefull now! I do drive my car hard sometimes but I always check out the trans engine an fluids afterwards just to make sure! love this car!

Nice! Our model is still "new" so I figure it will be awhile until we see 100k plus.

Anyone here could possibly post at what mileage did you have to get your timing chain serviced/replaced? Please specify model year. Thanks

^I believe your car will tell you when it's time to change the chain. It's not something that would be done as "regular maintenance", since conditions can vary quite a bit between owners. There is a tool that the dealer service department uses to check the chain for gaps, if you want to get **** about it. .

With that said...

I rolled over 63k this weekend. Transmission flushed at 59k, shifts are crisp and feel like new again. Going to be flushing my t-case and rear diff soon, also. Yay!

Thanks for the info... i guess i was just trying to get an average mileage, on when i might expect to get the timing chain serviced .

also, would you recommend the oem trans fluid, or something else like SSP's trans fluid to extend our transmission's life? Thanks.

09 RA. 72k miles. No known issues. SST fluid has not been changed yet but still works flawlessly. Since we just bought it that's high on my priority list. Turbo still pulls quite strong. All scheduled maintenance was done on the Standard maintenance schedule, but the bald tires were rotated and called good, so I have some questions about that dealership's competence.
