maintenance reminder
I just changed the oil and reset the maintenance reminder on the dash. It reset to only 900 miles? Anyone know why? The MMCS reset to the full millage until the next change? My only guess is there is some sort of other maintenance that will need to be done at that point, but I am being lazy and didn't want to search through the manual.
Thanks

Without knowing your current mileage, it would be very difficult to deduce what is next on the maintenance schedule.
Additionally, go open your manual . Not many people are going to open their manuals/do research for you after you openly admit that you're too lazy to do it yourself and basically want a freebie.

Ok that is what I figured it was something to do with that. I will have to get the abacus out and see if that makes sense with the service schedule. it just seamed like usually it reset to the same number of miles. but that be because it was the amount until another oil change then when it got to a mile stone it did the difference. I will report back after further investigation.

Reset maintenance warning light
Hello all i found a site where you can see how to reset any maintenance warning light for your cars. http://resetservicelight.com/ I saw that all information are taken from cars manuals. And it's all free.

It's pretty easy.
With the key in the off position, hit the button till it shows the wrench. Hold down till the wrench blinks the release and press and it'll beep. That's it.

you could actually play with the settings. I use synthetic and do oil chamge every 8k kms. So I always look for the settings that gives 8k kms intervals. (nas10,nas20,jap,eu are some examples of the settings I'm talking about.) heck, you can even turn it off so it doesnt bother you
