Steering Wheel Controls

I heard that if you replace the stereo system you won't be able to use the audio or Bluetooth controls on your steering wheel without something like these:

http://pac-audio.com/productSearch.aspx?Make=Mitsubishi&MakeId=24&Model =Lancer&ModelId=1326&Year=2010&YearId=31

Is that true?

Yes, there's a seperate module you can purchase to retain your controls.

Yeah the bluetooth is a big for me too lol, I want to get a 2011 for the system they already have in but if I can get a 2010 I know there's a pioneer system that's really nice that has it, as long as I can still use the steering controls that would be great

I have a Pioneer head unit with built-in bluetooth. As long as you purchase the PAC steering wheel adapter, you can still use the steering wheel bluetooth controls.
