Periodic Inspection (Car resetting?)

Does anyone ever have their Ralliart simply "reset" it self? IT happens randomly for me every couple of months.

There are three things that i notice. 1) The Periodic Inspection warning comes on. 2) The KM remaining/months remaining resets to - - - / - - - 3) My bluetooth connection to my phone is erased (as if the system lost power and was reset).

Other then that, my odo stays the same, the tracked km's stay the same. Beats me...I think my battery could be on the out its still the stock one, who knows.

What do you guys think? or has this occurred to anyone else?

That's weird. Maybe poor connections to the battery...

Someone on another fourm recommended that i clean the battery contacts in the car. I dont even think i bothered to do that since I purchased the damn vehicle. So, Im going to get some sand paper and electrical grease and hopefully fixes it.

This may be coincidental or maybe even anecdotal, but the ~only~ time I've had problems with my car loosing my bluetooth pairings was when the battery in my fastkey fob was dieing. When the fob battery was getting low, it lost my phone pairing 3 or 4 times in 2 months. When I finally replaced the battery in late Oct/early Nov last year, I haven't had a single problem with my bluetooth pairings. This includes coming back to a car with a completely dead car battery after my vacation ended this past Wednesday. Once I jump started the car Thursday morning, all was normal including the bluetooth pairings (i.e. I did not have to redo them, the car remembered).

Hmm. So even if your car battery died you didnt have to re-pair your phone. But if the fob in my key is losing battery power it erases my bluetooth paired phone info.....super weird.

I have been noticing that when i click the lock button on my car its difficult to get it to lock as i gotta click it a bunch of times before it works. Ill give that a shot! thanks

yeah, when i was loosing paired phones, the radio display was showing the low battery icon, and the gauge cluster info screen would briefly display the replace fob battery message.

my car has not yet showed that my fob battery is low. Then again I have a 2009 so maybe its not a bonus that you guys get in 2010+ models? i haven't read the manual but maybe..
