clicking sound from under dash.

So since i got my 09 RA it had a clicking sound coming from under the dash/foot pedal area. the clicking doesnt start till after a few mins that i first turn it on. It remains clicking after i rev the engine while beeing parked BUT the clicking stops/fades away when i hit the gas while driving. Im debating wether to taking it back to the private dealer i got it from but i have a feeling they dont know jack$#!t about Mitsubishi's. Any ideas?

What does knowing anything about mitsubishis have to do with finding a sound? if it's under warranty they should fix it regardless, if they **** it up they pay for it.

if it's under the dash it's more than likely a relay. stick your head down there next time it happens.

Yea its still under the 30 day warranty but after reading all the bad reviews about this place it scares me to bring it back to them. But yea i just checked my oil level and its fine, even a little past full so it definitely has enough oil. then i dove under the dash and you can feel the clicking on the gas pedal.

the SST makes a little chatter when idle but its more at random intervals not the same tick over and over.

might even be the drive belt or pulley sending the vibration to the pedal?

Can you hear it over the engine when the hood is open or only in the cabin?
