Im new to this forum thing so i hope im doing this right but I bought a 2012 ralliart at the end of last year and im slowly making up grades. Im currently looking into exhausts. im wondering what everyone's thoughts were. im more looking for sound but any extra h/p it gives me is cool........ any help with a cretin brand or a way to go about it is appreciated. thanks

 

Most go with AMS or Ultimate Racing. I myself have the AMS single which is discontinued but they make a dual exhaust now.

 

unless you don't want to annoy neighbors and draw attention from police. then go with Magnaflow

 

I haven't looked at ams or ultimate raceing so ill take a look. I have seen the magnaflow and they are just a little too quite for me. I don't want some louad *** coffee can but I do want it to be heard. Any opinions on borla?

My AMS exhaust isnt loud at all, in fact I kinda wish it was louder but thats me and Im coming form a 350Z that had TopSpeed dual exhaust which was loud as hell!! I have never once had a neighbor complaint or any problem with the police. In fact Ive owned my car over 2 years now and have never once been pulled over in it.

 

Borla is awesome! But if u have a HFC u might want add a resonator or the borla will open up really loud. I have a borla and had to add the resonator. I love it. When I give it gas it really opens up. When I'm crushing u can barely notice it.

Borla it a little costly but it has a long warranty.

YouTube exhaust videos and go with one u like. Everyone will tell u yes to this or yes to that. I fell in love with how the borla sounded and when I put it on I love it. Beautiful deep tone.

 

I guess it's relative. In SoCal, they'll pull you over in half a heart beat, if the loudness sounds like it even comes close to 90db.

 

You're in Michigan. Full, catless, exhaust or don't do it at all.

**** worrying about noise, every other car is straight-piped and loud as **** already. . I'm running a CPE exhaust with test pipe right now and I love it. It is one of the pricier exhaust setups, but it's worth every penny IMO. A few others on here have it and love it as well.
