I have a 2012 RA with a Stage 1 tune from GST and 21,000 miles on it. I noticed on my last oil change (which was changed at 3000 mile's) the oil smelled like gas pretty bad, I also noticed it on the dipstick as well. Now I have done allot of searching on this and it seams like it was only affecting people with stock tune or people that had a dealer re-tune, I did not see anyone that had a OTS tune and had this issue. I know this is an issue but, is there a solution or is this just the way it is and i just keep on as I have? Thank's for any help!

It can also indicate a leaking injector. The fuel system stays pressurized and a leaking injector will flow gas into the cylinder and then past the rings...

i would pull the fuel injectors and monitor for leaks...

 

I read that quakerstate oil have strong gasoline smell.
