RalliArt, Daily Usage, & Gas Mileage
Hey guys,
Again new guy here. After stalking through the forums for months now and posting a few topics I have come the conclusion that alot of you guys have the EVO and Lancer for racing and cruising. Does that mean you use something else for your everyday car? My new '09 GTS is my everyday car because let's face it I am a poor bastard. I bought it because I always wanted one and I love driving it.
Anyway I was wondering if there is anything I can do to it to get better gas mileage. I like to see how far I can push a tank of gas. My old 03' OZ Rally got about 30 miles to the gallon on a 10 gallon tank. Since the '09 is a 15 gallon tank I am still trying to see on my everyday drive how many miles it gets to the gallon.
Shoutout to the dude with the Red RalliArt hatchback using it for biking.

i get typically 23-24 with 93, runs great, starts great, but once i start the stop and go it drops to between 18-19. its not as good as the old ones, but you gain performance and handling and loose the mpg, a fair trade off for an enthusiast

My GTS got better mpg's once I put an SRI in it. I got 34-36 strictly highway a few times. If you stay under 65 you'll get great gas mileage. Our cars have been cursed with low gearing and bad aerodynamics haha
