I have a 2010 ralliart will upgrading the wastegate actuator be a big hp gain??

 

Upgrading the WGA will most likely be a ZERO HP gain. The only reason to upgrade it would be if your was failing.

If you're thinking of the bypass valve/BOV, it will help to upgrade it if you're running more than stock boost levels but again, has no specific gains.

 

Installing the forge actuator made a big difference on my ralliart, allowed to run 12.9 with the stock turbo.
It wakes the car up.

 

How so? The stock wastegate is holding 30lbs of boost for me I don't see how getting another one will benefit

 

I had no problem holding boost the stock actuator, but with the forge i was able to make the power earlier in the power band, also my car ran faster at 25 to 26 psi than 30 psi on the stock turbo, what are your 1/4 with 30lbs of boost,

 

did u get tuned the same time u put the wastegate in? and I don't drag race.

 

I had the car tuned first then I installed the actuator a couple weeks later
