Urgent!! Need help!
So I was changing my SST fluid and I stripped one of the plugs
it goes in completely but it turns forever basically even tho it sits flush. Am I screwed? I took it out and the thread is damaged so Idk what to do :/

Can I just get a new drain plug that self taps like the ones that they sell st AutoZone for oil pans? Just want to make sure it's sufficient for the sst in our cars or if somehow it will screw it up. Since the thread on the actual tranny is screwed I have to make a new thread somehow

So I bought the tap and drill bit I need to make a larger hole.. however I noticed that there isn't much space around to make the hole larger and there is a component of the transmission right above the hole. There is no way I can thrill through the hole thread and not hit it. So I bought figured I can use an oil drain plug sealant around the bolt to make sure it doesn't leak and it should be ok? I don't want to mess it up more than it is and since its only a few threads that are messed up I think the sealant should be sufficient. The bolt screws all the way in, the only problem is it keeps spininning slowly
OR in the 'Help[tm]' section of the autoparts store there is a rubber 'plug' for oil pan bolts that are stripped. Try it. If it works (and it should).... would be waaaay easier
