Full X turbo swap

I plan to do a full x turbo swap. Now I have a question about air intake.
Since I run in cold climates in the winter, I need a big battery. So the question is can I use a Ralliart air intake on an evo x turbo or do I have an intake that is the evo x and move the battery? Here's a link to the intake I was thinking of.

If you're going for the Evo X turbo swap, you should buy the intake for evo x. Just to avoid the worries of looking for the right fitment. You'll be using the evo x turbo inlet elbow pipe anyways.

I'm not too sure about the fitment issue you'll have with the intake you wanted though. I did relocate my battery in the trunk so I didn't have to worry about my intake system fitment issue. Search around. I thought, I saw somebody used a small battery instead and he was able to fit an aftermarket SRI.

Ok thanks for the reply. Then I put the battery in the trunk, so I will not have to have any problem with if it fits or not.

Yup! It's good weight distribution too.

Cbrd makes a special intake made for Ralliarts with evo x turbos who didn't want to relocate. That's the path I took.

I did the same. It's been running fine. Tight fit though.

I'm using a Perrin intake tube I cut down two inches at the compressor side. This along with the velocity stack maf adapter by CBRD with I think 4 inch K&N filter. It is also a tight fit and flush with the ecu harness and battery. It doesn't move at all. Cost me $120 for the setup. I might redo it when I feel like upgrading my intercooler and intake together.

I don't think that would work.
You would need the MAF adapter and/or a smaller filter.
In addition, you probably need to cut pipe shorter right wear that vacuum pipe is.

Where the battery is now on the RA, is where the evo x intake would be.

I bought a small battery and it did fine in the winter. We had some very cold winters in Kansas too. Battery has been in for 2 years and doesn't give me any trouble...best battery i've ever had.
