hello guys,
i hate to make a thread over something like this i did search the forum a bit. i am also getting useto the lay out. bare with me and flame suit on.
i am a noob when it comes to wires and electricity and such...im sure the answer is easy.

either way. got some ebay leds for my gfs' ralliart. did the interior with no issues. i went ahead and go to switch the reverse/back up lights and they come on intially but turn off after 2-3 seconds they dont stay on. i checked and replaced the stock oems ones and it works like it should. im assuming it has something to do with the wattage or voltage of the LEDS? anyone else run into this issue. any help with this would be appreciated or just copy the thread that has the answer and we can close this one..

I've changed all my cars lights to LED. For the reverse you will need a resistor (i think thats what its called) because of the voltage/current difference compared to stock lights.

Here is a video, but it's of the turn signal. Same concept, I did the same thing.

thanks so much for responding. i actually found the same solution as well. it took sometime but i believe this is issue was also address in the lancer forums 2008+ but nothing was in the ralliart sections. you are correct i need resistors for the reverse lights. its a new concept to me but it does look really straight forward. i ordered some online and they currently in the mail. if there is any mods watching this thread they can go ahead and close it. thanks again!
