So I called my dealer today asking how much the 30k mile service would cost for my car - they quoted $1200. I was hoping to get some input from RA owners if this was normal? I would be getting the agressive service plan with the transfer case / transmission fluid change. I'm debating going to an outside shop for this but I don't know of any good ones (I live near Frederick, MD).

Any advice guys?

Unless the shop is familiar with EVO/RA and has access to Diaqueen[tm] fluid...

 

I guess I'll look into doing it myself. There was a write up on the forums here on how to do it but a lot of the picture are deleted now unfortunately

 

i for some reason have trouble at seeing any of the pictures posted in the threads sometimes. i suggest you start looking at local shops and making phone calls. i know its not that expensive thru a performance shop. unless you have warranty and honestly i dont know how mitsu handles that in cases there is issues down the line. i dont have warranty with mitsu so i am doing with Boostin Performance they are located in the midwest. i know that doesnt help you. maybe someone in the EVO X forum might know a shop in your area? best of luck im desperately looking to do this soon to my gfs rotor glow because its hitting close to 60k and i couldnt get proof that this service has been done.
