30K mile service

Did you guys change out your belts like it says in the manual? How about changing the coolant? I can do the oil, diff/tranny. Is there a "how to" on belts/coolant?

I didn't change my belts, they were fine. Just have to keep an eye on them. As for coolant, if you take off your belly pan, there is a drain nut that you can loosen with a 10mm (I think) which is located on the passenger side of the radiator near the bottom pointed towards the back of the car. Don't forget to take the rad cap off when draining.

If you do drain the coolant, you may want to look at replacing the radiator hoses w/ Samco or Perrin. Just a thought to save you time down the road (if you ever plan on upgrading them...

If you do replace the belts, you might want to look at upgrading them as well...

upgraded belts? where would I find those and what would be the difference? What signs would tell me that the belts need changing?

I dont think I'll have a need to upgrade since I'm keeping the motor/turbo/etc stock...so the $200 buck hoses arent exactly needed....but what coolant replacement should I use?

Oh yeah, if I change out the brakepads, do I also change the brake fluid?

No when you change pads you don't change the brake fluid. I am past 30k and didn't change my coolant or belt and have no problems.
