Help with Cold Air Intake

So i just installed this part last night...

http://www.aemintakes.com/search/pro...x?prod=21-698C.

The only other thing done to this car is an exhaust and a cobb tuner that i'm running the stage 1 map (according to it and every other map the cold air intake is usually stock).

Prior to installing, i was pushing around 18.4 lbs of boost. Right after installing it, i took my car around and the max i could get it up to was about 17.4. Is it going to take awhile for my car to go back up to its original boost? Should the intake have affected my boost by that amount?

Link is leading me just to AEM's home page. In my opinion all intakes put on should have a tune to match it. Even tho some intakes will have the same diameter and what not... just my opinion.

Ill take a look in that sub forum. Right now i have a cobb access port and the only other things i have installed is an exhaust and that intake. Hopefully i'll be able to figure it out. I appreciate the help.

Let's be honest the intake is for aesthetics... take it off and wait till you get a custom tune down the road after stage 3
