Bluetooth Guages?...

OK so I got and OBDII bluetooth unit last year. I think it's great, gives me real time info on my phone (although not as accurate as the AccessPort). No to take this one step further, are there such things as bluetooth guages? This would be much easier than tapping into lines and running wires all over. Yes that's right I'm lazy.

I can't image them being any more accurate then what you are doing with your phone.

What works for me...

I have the Pioneer APRadio2 running the DashCommand app on an IPhone 4.

You can go to the Dashcommand website and custom build your gauges (limited to the OBDII data already generated, plus wideband - it will report that too.)

I wanted 'just' the boost but would like the tranny temp as well (if I could figure out how to do that [rolls eyes])

Torque App. Free version should have everything you need. Literally almost as accurate as my digital gauges. Use your smartphone as a gauge (Old one if you have one )

This, though I opted for the full paid version (only $5).

The BT has a slight delay in it's reporting usually so I wouldn't use it as a guage to be honest.

Once you start getting serious about modding, I agree. However, to hold you over until then, and to give you something else to play with along the way, the Torque app is pretty cool.

When I was using Torque Lite, I found there were some features missing that were covered nicely by OBD Car Doctor:

I have since upgraded to Torque Pro and OBD Car Doctor Pro, and it was money well spent on both. Torque Pro is an almost completely different app than Torque Lite. OBD Car Doctor Pro just adds a bunch of handy features:
