auto start question

Hello all I have a 2010 lancer sportback ralliart (fully loaded with Bluetooth and navi) I have the keyless entry and I was wondering the best and least $$ way to get a auto start with alarm. I'm mainly worried about the keyless entry and how that will work with an autostart.

It'll work. You'll need a bypass module to integrate the system with the car's oem stuff. I think the DBALL2 is what most people use. I used a different module that my friend had on hand and the keyless entry still works with the auto start but the buttons on the side of the car will still set off the alarm if I try unlocking the car with them after the alarm has been set. I think the DBALL doesnt have that issue though.

I have a Viper remote start and alarm system with the smart start module app for my phone. I used a part by idatalink (FLCAN) for the immobilizer bypass. My oem remotes arm and disarm the viper alarm system. With the FLCAN or DBALL system there is no way to make the passive entry on the door handle work with an aftermarket system. I have tried. (Its what I do for a living) but my system as been on 3 years now and works great. I arm and disarm the Viper and stock alarm via my OEM remotes and remote start the car via Smart start from my phone. Also can use the remotes that came with the Viper. I have been able to make the car remote start by pressing lock 3 times on my oem remote but range is very low. If you need help picking something out let me know.

Strange. My friend who did his own system was able to get his passive entry to work on his alarm without issue. I use my oem remote and it arms/disarms my alarm system as well.

What Viper module did you use?
Or do you have to go through them to get specifically what you need?

You can get a OEM auto start from Mitsubishi I think, but range is laughable low and expensive to boot!
