I have a 2011 Lancer Ralliart Sportback that is coming up to 80k miles. My local Mitsubishi dealer tells me that it is a good idea to replace the in -tank fuel filter at this point. All I can find is a rather comprehensive "fuel filter kit" rather that the filter itself. I THINK ?? the part number for this kit is 1770A116 later 1770A271. Could anyone confirm this for me please and tell me if it is possible to get the filter part just by itself ? If so then a supplier link would be really appreciated.
