Has anyone bothered to check if the Evo X coilovers will bolt up? I wouldn't use base Lancer coilovers, since they're not setup for a car as heavy as the Ralliart, especially in the rear end.

Thats what I want to know as well. I can tell in teh exhaust threads around here that the RA rear subframe is different for sure and it has already been confirmed that the a arms are not the same part numbers so at this point its looking like the rear suspension mounting points may be different. The front, I've read around here, looks to be the same...

Would like to buy a second Fancy set of wider rims with stickier rubber for Summer. So what is the widest rim you would use without using spacers for a daily driver for a guy who really likes his corners and what brand and size rubber to use for summer driving. I plan to use the stock rims and rubber for my Winnipeg Winter up here in Canada. Can you buy more of the valve sensors that are equiped on the stock rims or will you have an annoying light on the dash on when you go to aftermarket rims?

If you're going to have two sets of wheels, buy real winter tires, not the all-season garbage that comes stock. As for width, if you're just driving around town, you're not going to notice a difference between a 7.4" rim, an 8" rim and an 8.5" rim. Buy the one you know will fit and get a decent summer tire to match.

I know this is an old thread, so sorry for reviving it, but I figured it was better than making a new topic.

Those are 18x8 +45 with 235/40-18 tires? Why is the gap so large? Isn't the total diameter close to stock, so shouldn't the gap be about the same as stock? I'm kind of worried now because I was going to get some 18x8 +48 with 235/40-18, and I wasn't planning to lower my car yet, if ever (roads here are crappy, and I don't want to roll the fenders), but I don't want a bigger gap than stock.
