that is the speed rating and load index on the tire
89W = 89 is the load index = 1279lbs
W is the speed rating = 168mph
93H = 93 is the load index = 1433lbs
H is the speed rating = 130mph
for more info read this
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=35
Both tires no rubber on stock wheels with 1.5 drop all around

I was wondering if 18x7.5 5Zigen Proracer FN01R-C would fit? The 18x7.5 has an offset of 43. I'm not sure if they have the right fits for the 18x8.5 of the same wheels... They do have the 18x8.5 with offsets of 30, 38, or 48. Thanks!

18X8.5 +48 will = fronts will be flushed and rears will need a 5mm to be flushed [10mm spacer to be MAX flushed]
Inner Clearance: 21mm LESS Outer Face Position: 17mm MORE
Tries: 235/40 18 no rubbing issues with stock height
***Prefect fitment with 5mm spacer in the back***Updated 5-21-09

going by those numbers you're after 18's..would it fit? depends on the width of the rim.. assuming that you've stated that you're using 215's on the tires the rim shouldnt be wider than 8".. so it should fit..

Well said, sure, but I was just asking if anyone had experience doing it. Whenever I've plus sized in the past, I usually didn't see the full benefits of the wider traction patch. It looks as though that's not an issue with these rims.
My plans right now are to upgrade my rims to lighter/wider ones and reserve my stock rims for winter/offroad duties. I still want to be running 225s on them though.
