you have a point. however the RA is not a bad project car for some one to start off with. he said when they where done with the RA from Robispec it was faster around the track then the lotus Elise. but it would be nice to see some less expensive stuff from them knowing your going to sacrifice some performance.

With the lack of parts Ill probably be upgrading the brakes to the Evo X setup. This weekend I am having Evo 9 brake air guides fitted to the car in the meantime. In terms of suspension, WORKs is coming out with a full blown track suspension that I am waiting to get my hands on.
I am doing just what you said wouldnt happen

I thought the EVO didn't fit the Ralliart.
The point of wide wheels is to fit wide tires and increase tire contact patch. Nowhere in this thread does the poster indicate successfully putting a wider tire than stock Evo X (235) on the Ralliart with a properly adjusted race suspension and tracking the car. Hopefully, someone will.

Well I already have wider wheels and I will be adding the WORKs coilover system to the car in a month or two. I guess at that point I can look into it further. Thanks for pointing that out
You mean the wheel and tire fitment thread, formerly stickied? Granted, this is just one dude's findings, but if there is "some rubbing" without any basic suspension upgrades for track use, then I expect fenders will be in the way.

Actually I just read over that entire topic and there is nothing about Evo brakes in that thread (unless its hidden within a large post about wheel fitment and I missed it) I already have Enkei 18x8 wheels, I was talking about the Evo brakes (rotors/calipers and any other hardware I might need to swap)
I was under the impression that Evo X Brembos will not bolt on a Ralliart in place of the stock Outlander/GTS brakes and rotors with very different geometry.

I contacted Robispec today about the brake system. They quoted me 2100 for the system (without install costs) and then when I brought up the price listed in the first post and asked if anything had changed to bring the price up they said "yes we added brake lines", which if I am not mistaken are listed in the first post under 1950?

They wont let me come in on a weekend either anyways so it looks like Ill have to keep looking for a good upgrade.

This is a 4 wheel kit the brake lines alone will be around 150 as the rears are over 2 feet long...
NEW PARTS
Performance lowering springs Not too low, not too soft, not too stiff, JUST right...
Swaybars BANISH YOUR PUSH AND LEAN cornering style.
front camber kit
front castor camber plates
"SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND"
..the evo x has 18 x 8.5 wheels with 245/40 tires "stock".
these can be put on the RA with no problems ( as long as you keep stock ride height )
so our RAs' are not too bad in the "track width" area.
i just want stiiffer suspension and better brakes...
looks like the new robi stuff will meet my needs.
