9.5" Wheel Question
I want to run a 9.5 inch wheel and Ive been doing some research. I could only find 2 other people who have run a 9.5 wheel.
RallygoneEvo mounted 18x9.5 et35 with a 235/40. However I cant find any mention of what he had to do to the fenders. I know he was working on a X/wide body conversion. Also I dont think he ever dropped the car.
Billyboy1 mounted 18x9.5 et 28 with a 235/40. He needed major work on the rear fenders, flaring 12-15mm.
The wheels I want to run are 18x9.5 et 38. Im also willing to run a 225 or 215 tire (I don't want to hear about how thats too aggressive of a stretch) I dont have any issues rolling the fenders but Id like to avoid flaring. Im on Tein springs right now as well.
Compared to Billyboy1, the offset is 10mm lower on my rims and running a 225 will give me ~5mm for a total of 15mm less poke than his set up. Im thinking this will help with avoiding having to flare.
My main concern is that in an attempt to bring the wheel in, will I run into an issue with inboard clearance on the suspension?
Any help with fitment would be appreciated.

with 18x9.5 et 38..... you might be hitting the rear traction arm.... i feel that et 35 is already very close.... i have 4.5mm on et30 before hitting the arm.... so test fit before buying

thats because they are 2 different wheels. The 9.5 is the p45r, the 8.5 is the p45f for FLAT
Sadly our car isnt designed, nor does it look great with a concave face. The nicest wheel one our car to date is the work emotion xd9 which is what bye2u has, which is also a rota p1 which i have.

sorry i misread the grid/p45 thing. but its the same concept, rota makes the lower width wheels less concave. For our application that is a good thing. The concave suits a wider stance then we have.
