Yup. One of the reasons that I have halted that project, for the time being, is that I would like to explore mounting a Z06 2-piece rotor on an Evo X rear 2-piece hat. If I can do that, I will go ahead with that project for the Evolution X, as well.

Thanks NFS!! So are u allowing pre order or is it first come first serve? And I take it that it will be this thread that u will be posting the availability of them, as well as PayPal info to send $$

Oh and my eyes totally bugged out attempting to read this entire thread...my question is we have to order our calipers from GM or is there another company? Parts list with websites would be awesome

Cheers

I am not taking pre-orders, but I feel certain that there will be enough brackets in the final order to accommodate a fair number of people. And then, I will order more.

I order all PBR parts through Kore-3.

Hey well i blasted thru your entire brake upgrade thread, lot of info to take in... so i pprobably got some things mixed up...got a couple questions for you

When you posted that picture of the uneven pad wear and scoring on the rotor was that only happening on the rears? What was the reason for that?

Reason being i really want to go that route for my breaks... either that or i go with the ksport kits

I had to mount the caliper slightly high to clear everything. The problem with these calipers is that they require a 26mm thick rotor in the rear. That is a slightly odd size, and there aren't many rotor options. I went with the largest one. I believe that the Camaro (365 in the rear) is 28mm or 24mm. Either way, wrong size.

Ahh so the fronts are fine, just a matter of getting the proper rotor/caliper combo for the rear?

Would runnin a 19 inch rim be better/easier for this?

Not yet. I cannot understand why the fabricator has made no effort to get this done in a reasonable amount of time. I guess money is not a concern for this guy.

NFS...I remember you had put together a really nice clear and concise document pertaining to what to order from you.

Once your brackets are made, will you put that sheet back up to order?

This time around, I'm definitely going to be ordering these. Any plans for a rear brake upgrade too or is this still just front?
