15" Wheels

Does anyone know if 15" wheels will clear the brakes?

My parents have offered me a free set of virtually new 15" winter tires and i'd like to know if they'll fit before I go out and purchase some steel wheels.

Thanks guys!

Upon searching through some old threads, people say they won't fit. I thought they would with some spacers.

for the 08 GTS I know the smallest size that you can put on them it is 16". With the Ralliart I'm expecting the breaks to be big, probably the same size or bigger the the 08 GTS' so Im guessing no.

I had 16" steel wheels for winter and they barely cleared the stock brakes. I really don't think that 15" wheels will work.

All 16's should work. Some 15's WILL work, basic steelies probably will not. It's all a matter of spoke design, offset, and backspacing. I'm working on finding a set for myself for track duty...

RA and GTS brake systems are the same

Interesting, curious if 30 offest will be enough to clear the brakes.

its not so much the offset, its like 03chi said.....its spoke design. The 16s are tight enough for my comfort. free is nice, but if you ruin something by taking advantage of free your no farther ahead. look around for a used set! i managed to find used 16`steelies for 60$ off craigslist.

They are made by "Python"

They were about $90 per wheel w/ shipping.

Haha, wow. Did you toss them on a scale, by chance, just for S&G?
