According to their website "Got new modifications? $249 for a new custom re-flash". I would do as many mods as you can to make it worth it on the second go around.

Not trying to be the pessimist in the entire thread but, hum jake, you paid 500+ for the flash and close to 200 bucks for the cable, while you could've sent ur ECU to TTP or whoever and have it flashed and save the extra 200 bucks

unless... unless you can't afford to stay without a car for a couple days;

still good stuff, u should have posted that How To under "How To's" for easier access later on

Our reflash does not cost $500+.

In fact our flash is -$100 to our competitor. It is our opinion that we have the most experience with the Ralliart 2009 and have spent countless hours developing our mapping and believe them to be the best available.

Buying a cable insures ZERO DOWNTIME.

Being able to REVERT BACK TO STOCK INSTANTLY.

Provide Evoscan datalogs back to us for review.

Being able to view the Evoscan data yourself and insure the car is not knocking excessively.

Read and RESET any engine codes at anytime.

Update maps instantly through your tuner through email once modifications are further added.

And you would have had no car for a week as your ecu got mailed around. What happens if it got damaged or lost in shipment? How many weeks would you be without your car then?

What if the map from competitor A caused your car to sputter or belch black smoke at wide open throttle? Then there goes another week without the car just to mail around your ecu and hope it makes it back.

If you had just got the cable in the first place, you would have NO DOWNTIME and if there was adjustment needed to the map, it would be 5 minutes to get an email and you would have your new map to load.

These are the days of technology. Why are you still using an abacus to add with?

hehe I know, all you say sounds pretty good and seems like a better idea when it comes to dealing with your ECU; certainly don't want to have it wondering around from state to state still thought the idea of saving 200 bucks would come in handy (assuming nothing happens to your ecu like you said)

I'm just a stubborn kid

Actually, it is a very good question to ask, since the boost pill wasn't mentioned. I don't believe that you will see those numbers without the boost pill, but I might be wrong. Either way, if you want to run with the boost pill, it is something you should mention to TTP when you order the map.

We have seperate mapping for with pill or without.

Personally we're not big fans of boost pills.

Why is that? Do they cause some type of issue?

yeah i paid 399 for email flash, and 169 for the cable.. and like said above i had no downtime.. i didn't have to mess with sending my ecu around.. . and hoping it would make it back to me. ( dont get me wrong 98% of the time packages make it to shipper and back but there is always that chance..

I have AMS boost pill but not installed if i ever see a need for it i will send TTP my map back and scott can tweak it,...

oh btw scott is great with replys. he had my map back to me overnight! but shhhhhh dont tell anyone!! heheheh

DYNO DAY TOMORROW... I WILL POST SHEETS AS SOON AS I GET BACK.. I am hoping for 25 -30WHP over stock!
