Nice write up. I also got a tune from TTP those guys are on it. I put the ams boost pill in and with TTP tune the car feels great now. Scott takes great care and is very active with recommending what is best. So if your new to this listen to him and read his posts.

scott i came across a evo x its my buddies, as soon as he will save some money we will send you his stock map.. already pulled it off with ecu flash... just waiting on him...

hello everyone. this is my first post in this forum. i'm very interested about reflashing that i just ordered the cable from tactrix. just wondering, would anyone please tell me where the ecu is and what exactly do i do with the cable when i finally get it? thanks heaps

The ECU is located under the hood, but thats meaningless since you should not touch it.

The OBD-II port to connect your cable is under the dash near your left knee on the 2008-2009.

i watched your video and read the small tutorial but i don't recall seeing the actual OBD-II and cable, hence the question. i have never done this before so i'm asking sir. thanks

thank you for your reply. would it be safe to assume that the OBD-II in under my right knee since we're right hand drive here?

hey scott i just read my friends 08 lancer. The ecu didnt show anything. but what was weird it said that the ecu was from evo x and it was 6 sp MT???? hahahha that car is weird. we all know that gsr is 5 sp MT. strange huh?
