Yes the boost pill upgrade is a must. It is a night and day difference and turns the Ralliart into a monster

Well the flash is done with the stock pill till I get my pill.
Seems to be ok :P

I can really notice a bit difference.

Going to the track tomorrow so we will test it out :P
My best fully stock is 14.6 sec
Now i have the base map and LC and SS so we will see how it goes
My buddy is bringing his Tatrix and we will log while i do the 1/4 mile see how it looks

I will post the results!

So, a little bit of an issue. Tuned my car using the 93 octane map and now I'm in an area where I can only get 91. I am almost 2000 miles from my Tactrix cable and computer.... How much of an issue will I have as long as I don't get all crazy on the gas pedal? It's only for about two weeks.

Stay away from WOT and keep out of boost as much as possible and you'll be alright.

You can buy some of that over-the-counter octane booster, if you want, but it really doesn't make that much of a difference. Just baby the car until you can refuel with 93 or reflash to a 91 tune.

That's what I was figuring. I did find some octane booster too, just to be safe. I wasn't sure how "loose" of a tune the 93 map was

There's a little wiggle room for variation, so as to work with different cars, driving habits, versions of mods, etc., but it's definitely something that REQUIRES the correct fuel octane rating unless you are doing serious logging and tune modification on your own.

If I wanted to data log my 2013 with stock boostpill and gst maps to help out, what should I log?

And thanks Rich!

It's out... right now.

Here ya go! Two new Base Maps. Boost Pill 2013. Attached to this post (see at bottom).

For logging, please use EvoScan. Put it in "RAX Fast Logging" mode. That should get a whole lotta data.

When it comes to Base Maps v31.003, RAX Fast Logging is already built in. You don't need to "apply" it to the ROM, as I've done all the hard work for ya. But if you want to check out the thread related to this logging method, see here.

Please test cautiously. No rushing off to the drags and setting new land speed records.

If you're not 100% clear on how to LOG AND TEST something like this SAFELY, don't proceed. Ask. Discuss. Save your engine.

Once these are confirmed "working as intended", I'll tweak them for the TBE and TBE+AEM variants. And then we'll have a glorious "first post update" party.

Cheers!

Rich

In fact, here's a testing document I whipped up for just such an occasion. Please read it, understand its intent, and stay safe!

Cheers,

Because the newer ra use so much timing at idle...why?
