Quote: Is the AMS boost pill the same internal diameter as the GST boost pill?
Got a link?

I figured out the whole boost pill thing, wrote the how-tos, etc. GST uses a #65 pill. Most tuners use a #60, #63 or #65 pill.

Quote: No, power is still there in the mid range with smooth spool up.

Call me crazy but I did fiddle with WGDC to get an even quicker spool up. Car can really launch itself now compared to stcok.
Good to hear, thanks for the feedback.

Quote: Would an upgraded intercooler change the A/F enough to not use this tune? BTW I'm on 93 octane as well.
I'm wondering this as well...I'm on 93 with an X intercooler and upgraded IC piping. I don't imagine this would change the A/F much because this is all post-intake, but I'd like to find out from someone who has more experience than I do.

Whether it is safe or not....thanks GST!

Quote: The Rom is setup for logging already so all you have to do is select Mode23 logging, the items you want to log, and press start.
Will the address of various parameters differ between rom ID's? Will the usdm ra evox setting for ecu type in evoscan work for everyone? I was under the impression that you have to know the correct address for your rom id to log with mode 23.

Yup you need to know the correct MUT addresses. I'm slowly working on compiling all of them...

I believe I have my mut table identified. Is there a standard list of what mut id is what? For example I think MUT06 is knock sum. Thanks for any help. I have been reading and reading and trying to get a grasp of what is really going on here.

In Evoscan v2.6

After selecting "OpenPort 2.0" and "CAN 2006+/EvoX" under Device Setup

Select "Mode23 USA RA EVOX" under the "select ECU" drop-down.

I was think of the 3D mut table in ecuflash. I was wondering what id corresponded to what parameter. In ecu flash how do you tell what address is for what if it differs between rom ids? Sorry if I am not using the correct terms.

Why do you need to change anything on the MUT table?

I dont intend to change anything in ecu flash. For instance, if I wanted to confirm the address that evoscan was logging for knock, I would look at evoscan and see that is says 808A53. Then I would go to the mut table in ecuflash and I would need to know where on the grid to look for the knock address. Maybe I am missing something.

Um, this might be so obvious Im just missing it but how the hell do you upgrade your EvoScan. I have v2.6 Beta 11. It does not have an option for mode23 under ECU settings but Ill be damned If I can find an upgrade option without having to pay the 25. What and where am I missing it?

EvoScan v2.6 Beta19 or v2.6 Full needed

You should have got a email or the last email you got should have a link and that should give you the latest version, usually it's at the bottom of the email and says something like "EvoScan v2.6 Released. Download Your Copy of EvoScan v2.6 Here"
