Pic: Fuel Pump Relay

Quick question: Do I have the latest fuel pump relay?

Am I correct that the one AMS is selling (the blue) is the newest?

http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/m...ump-relay.html

Sorry for the newbiness, but I don't want a blown engine, so I need to know!

Did I miss something? Is there an issue with the original OEM one?

They actually made 2 other colors to replace it. It is just an insurance measure. Some people have actually had fuel delivery problems and blew their motors. A simple cheap fix.

wow I haven't heard a single RA owner blowing their motor yet. Is there a recall on this or just a peace of mind thing? Also like stated above link don't work.

Tell them is the fuel pump/fuel delivery recall..
they are changing all relays to the blue... (they will replace ur green one for a blue one)

also when ure there, get an additional one cuz they will only replace 3 of them under recall.. (the 3 green one u see there+another black one), but a 4th one needs to be replaced as well... (@A27)

Small blue one:
starter relay (A-28X)- included in recall
throttle actuator control motor relay (A-22X)- included in recall
injector relay (A-25X) - included in recall
Fuel pump relay (A-27X) - NOT included in recall

Big gray one:
MFI (A-34X) MR400709 - included in recall

Also the link doesnt work because evoM censors evo_x_forums..

as a side note, I actually call a Mitsu dealership to buy these and they said they didnt have any... after more questioning, I told them is for the "fuel pump relay recall" ... they immediately say they have thousand of them in stock for recall (and not for sale.. thats y they said they didnt have any..)
So i drove there, having my wallet out... but they just gave me 5 relays like that ... just think its kinda interesting

different part man. that's the actual metal pipe connecting the fuel rail to the line running excess pressure back to the tank. good thing to get done as well, but you should still look under the fuse cover in the engine bay and see if you have blue or green relays installed. if they're not blue, go back and say you have a hard time starting sometimes and you want the updated relays...

I went into my local dealer today and they tried to tell me that this TSB is no longer in effect. I have to call on Mon and talk to the service manager and see what he says.

Hey crankIT, if you got this done, can you let me know which dealership you went to?
