Ralliart (AUS) ECU Stuff For Dummies
I got an LC-1 separately to the tactrix, it's not hooked up yet though.
Where in QLD are you from FWD?
if i read the website correctly, the innovate comes with a harness adapter that will plug into the Tactrix for logging purposes. sounds like a great idea for tuning and mountain passes. As my Ralliart is still in warranty, i wonder if they will question the innovate being wired in and an additional o2 sensor being placed into the exhaust system.
I have a innovate lc-1 on a link G4 running close loop and it is a fantastic bit of gear for the money. no hesitations buying another one.
Rocky, cool. Have you heard of Club CJ? Probably some people more local to you on that forum than here/
Yeah there is a serial jack on the tactrix that you plug the LC-1 into so that you can log straight on the micro SD card.
Otherwise you log with a usb connection straight to a laptop.
I'm assuming that you know about EVOSCAN?

That may be true, this place is a wealth of knoweledge and every time I google something this is the first place that pops up. I will join up at a later date once I get neck deep in modifications.
That evoscan looks amazing and is on the to buy list

PM'd you.
And, yes, it's reversible. Worst case is a "bricked" ECU - I've only had that happen when I was testing a ROM coding patch, and I'd made a silly mistake. I recovered it by doing Ye Olde Bench Reflash, which entails removing the ECU from the car and flashing it with a power supply and some crazy looking wiring harness.
Never had to do that as a result of regular flashing, and I've reflashed my ECU over 500 times, haha.

Hi i have a 2013 RA (AUS)
since their is no current basemap tune for 2012-2013 AUS RA, am i able to modify the stock tune by manually copying in info from a tune from 2010/2011 GST tune, or do i need a basemap to start with?

Bump..
as they mentioned previously, the base map must match your model number, which can be checked by loading your stock map from your cars ecu into ecuflash, plus the data may not be in same location for each model year, also changing stuff manually could take a lot of time and big risk if your not familiar with the ecuflash software as well as your stock ecu map settings.

I've been looking for this forever! I get it now. I bought GSR from a private seller and didn't know what tune he used. I'm comparing stock ROM to TephraxMOd V1. Now to get it to pass emissions.
