im finally getting the tune this Thursday, so from my understanding the boost levels change on their own or something, by going from the lower too higher RPMS correct? Example, the higher the Rpms may bring Higher boost, with the boost pill so there is no need for a boost controller?

Your ECU is the boost controller is our case.

Actually, the higher your RPM the lower the boost. Because you turbo has a limited Flow. And the higher your RPM the higher the flow.

At very low RPM though, your engine is not creating enough exhaust flow to lead to a significant rise in intake pressure.

I always thought that the OEM wastegate/actuator are the responsibles of the poor high rpm performance. Because they release boost very quickly.

The wastegate duty cycle is controlled thru the ECU, it is adjustable. Usually you would need a boost controller to manage the wastegate (by activating the actuator) but in our case (thanks to faster microcontrollers), the ECU act as the boost controller.

very well put thanks Bro! Hopefully this tuner will know what to do, he's work on evox and rallis and knows about boost pills, but i never seen him do any work first hand,b ut he's reparable here in Houston so heres to luck! My friend wh has a boosted RX-8 told me to tell the guy to loosen my Watergate, but, know im think not to since like you said before the ecu will take care of everything on its own

You 100% need to be tuned for a boost pill. A boost pill on the stock tune will overboost.
