Omegis RA to Evo X swap progress
Did you relocate your battery? Was it self installed or did you have someone else do it and by who? Have any voltage issues if battery is relocated to the trunk? I asked Cobb plano about it and they said they had several ralliarts come to their shop with this relocation with voltage issues. I would like to use the AEM intake for the evo x because its closer to the front of the car.
So far no voltage issues at all. Starts quickly and hovers around 13.7-14V when driving. I'd probably hook it up to a trickle charger or disconnect it if I wasn't able to drive it for a few weeks.
Running a Braille battery.
AEM intake has been great too and very clean looking in engine bay. Need that bracket I linked in my last post though to secure it.
Yes. You'll see in the pics, the Evo X bracket has a raised portion with two plugs to secure the X airbox based on it's location. This is not necessary for a stock RA airbox since it is located further back near the firewall.

TurboXS catback installed. Couldn't locate a CP-E exhaust.

For the turbo outlet pipe, I'm using the UR UICP. That means, I have to look for the coupler that connects the two since the ralliart turbo outlet pipe has different diameter compared to the evo. Is that correct?
I don't recall the RA outlet pipe being any different in diameter than the X pipe. When I purchased my UR UICP, I chose the one designated for the X. Worked on the RA and X turbo.
On a side note, had a resonator installed midway into the TurboXS CBE. Made a world of difference. Now I've got the UR downpipe, UR resonated test pipe, and resonated TurboXS CBE. Still has the growl but drone has decreased.
