EvoScan logging fail

Need some help.

Had this issue with my netbook, now I'm having it with my Viliv mobile PC. I'm trying to view live data with the GST v2.5 stockpill basemap flashed, and the "readings" are all over the place or not showing up at all, especially RPM's. I have read through everything and have EvoScan set up exactly as described, still nothing is working properly and it's getting to be very frustrating. I'm also trying to have gauges as well but when I load the gauge layouts they won't display any live data either. And that's also frustrating because I bought the damn mobile PC for logging and gauge displays.

What the heck is going on?

Ok, I got a few of the different data elements to work. RPM, boost, speed, timing advance, coolant temp, knock sum and TPS are all working, I hope.

Quick question... when it monitors the throttle position, is it normal for it to sit anywhere between 11 and maybe 14 while idling, and only go up to 88 when the accelerator is to the floor?

Yep, that's fine.

Some people rescale so TPS is 0% to 100% in their logs... but if you're wading into EcuFlash tuning from public XMLs, most of the throttle-related tables work from the "12 to 87" scale! It quickly spirals into an XML hacking spree... and then you're stuck with custom XMLs!

TPS is a measure of throttle plate degrees open.. not likely to go past 90degrees, and will sit at about 17 degrees at idle.

Sounds like you do not have the correct logging addresses for your 2011

Bryan... funny you mention that. I found the addresses for the 2011 USDM RA, most are now working properly. But there are some addresses missing that I would like to log.
