ICP Help

I have an 09 ralliart and my dad has a 2010 ralliart sb. I was helping him get parts around to upgrade to the x intercooler, and he bought set of icp off of eBay without me knowing until now. It is the cxracing set that comes with their bov, and a flange welded on to the uicp for the bov.
So, my question is, will it work without a retune? The bov is recirculating, but won't changing the placement of it require a tune. I know you don't need a tune for ic and piping, just worried about the bov setup.

UPDATE:
So we finally got around to installing the Evo x intercooler and ICP from CXRacing today and I'm wondering if everything is hooked up correctly. Here are some pictures.

^^As you can see we ran a hose to the top of the bov.
You can see on this picture how we had to make a custom angled hose coming out of the bov to the intake. Also you can see a little prong sticking out of the bov right below the recirc. hose. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a hose on that or not??? Here's another pic of it: This next picture shows you how the licp doesn't have a pipe running out of it for the bov.

*If* all it does is move the position of the BOV, then no, i believe no tune is needed....

Wait! What?! the BOV is on the UICP and not the lower?

Still, it should not need a tune. See it in a total system-view.

Yea, from what I can tell its on the uicp. It says it has a short recirculation route, which gives it better response.
So you only need a tune if the bov you get doesn't recirculate?

Nope you dont need a tune for upgrading your BOV/ intercooler and piping.

Members on here would suggest you get a tune once you have all or bolts on or just use the base map that Bryan provided us.

Good Luck with your mods. =D

Like u said the bov is on the uicp...does the recirc tube actually connected to the bov or its connected to the uicp??

But it still seems like a lot of 'unneeded changes to the plumbing configuration...' Unless it was waaay cheaper than just a EVO X FMIC and UICP i would not even contemplate it.

Does the mfgr even make a hp improvement claim?

Claim is 'better response'? How measured? And how does this achieve it?

-puzzled.

First off I agree it is a lot of unneeded changes. This is on my fathers ralliart. I was in the process of looking for an x licp and aftermarket uicp when he told me he bought this off of ebay. He was very persistent about making it work so this is what he came up with. It actually was more expensive then getting a hard uicp and x licp, but I wasn't the one who bought it.
I don't think they make a hp improvement claim, but they say it gives better throttle response due to the short recirculation route.
