Is my Tranny going?
It is still leaking now as they have not changed it yet.
They didn't have a filter on hand so they had to order it.
They said they will call me tomorrow to come in and get it replaced.
I am going to get rid of the S-sport and LC when I go back to stock.
My buddy had it also and they removed it first and he was able to get the tranny done no problem.
So ya it's gonna be gone!!
That learning process is that when you disconnect the battery for a while it will clear it and start to re-learn it?
Reason I ask is I have had my battery disc a few times to do some mods, would that affect it?

Well I am confused as hell
I put everything back to stock and now I can hardly get it to chatter and the shifting issue seems to be gone.
took out the intake and pill and back to stock tune.
I still have LC and S-Sport though
And an other thing the rev hunting at 2000rpm in 6th gear is GONE!!
I heard that it was because of the S-Sport. well if that is teh case why is it not doing it?
I had the GST map before I went back to stock so.......

Well, as far as I've seen all modifications to the Ralliart's transmission are done with a blindfold, so this outcome is not too surprising. Some cars do just fine, others shift badly or get other transmission issues for no obvious reason...
I agree. I know people with the Map and no problem. And i have a buddy who had worse problems then me.
It's a crapshoot :P
It doesn't even have to be the map. For example, I was running a Cobb Stage 1 map no problem with the stock exhaust and then with a catback, but ever since I changed to an aftermarket downpipe and hfc and Stage 2, my shifts have been bad in normal mode and OK to good in Sport mode. Switching to the GST map actually improved things quite a bit - my car was shifting a lot worse with Cobb and stock map with my turbo-back setup, but overall Normal mode is still barely usable...
If you want try going one by one with mods and see at which point does this happen again. I am thinking of trading my 08 GTS for a new RA. My GTS is having some weird noise only when in gear and when i either accelerate or right after I let off the pedal. I have the CVT so i really wish they had a manual RA so i can avoid the CVT, but since the RA comes boosted it should be stronger.
The RA is not a CVT. It's an SST. totally diffrent :P
as for trying 1 mod at a time that will not make a difference.
I went totally stock and it still chattered.
Mitsu canada says that my hatter is "within allowable specs" so they will not do anything for me.

I was told by a highly trusted source that even though you are flashing the TCU some modded ECU roms don't play nice as both systems are interconnected. I was told sometimes flashing back to a stock ECU rom works and flashing the TCU helps sometimes not. So you seeing better drive-ability after flashing back isn't surprising.
