It's bc unhave the wrong map flash in. For some reason the folder 2009-2011 Evo x maps Is incorrect 2011-2012 transmissions should be its own entity. It's not, I flashed in the 2012 one and it works great. The logs show perfect as well.

Can you elaborate in addition to rewriting this with proper punctuation and sentence structure. I have no idea what you are trying to say here and I'm sure others are probably confused as well. You may very well be making a good point but your statements are all jumbled together making them indecipherable.

Ok I will try this.

Here is the true trans map that you need for a 2011

but when you open the folder for 2011 it's not in there. so most of us have just used those maps

That map is actually in this folder.

So now the quality of these images is horrible. So in his description it shows the actual file names. If you notice for the 2011+up 8631B151.cff

But when you go into his folders Under evo x file. and then click on 2009-2012 its not in there. So most of us, I'm sure used that cff file in there. But in realty it's inside the 2013-2015 folder.

I'm trying to explain the best I can.

I see what you are saying. Instead of using the 8631B001.cff file I should be using the 8631B151.cff file to flash. The issue is because the 2011+ files are in the wrong folder. To me I'am not worried about it. Like I said it happens occasionally to the point were it's non existent to me. I can go some months without even getting a slip, and if it does, it will happen only once for a split second.

If I get some free time I'll will probably update the flash and see if it makes a difference.

If you can do it yourself easily please do it ASAP. It is bad on the car. Its slipping more then you think and it will wear down your clutches.

Any suggestions?

Quick question...Got everything flashed the other night, but at the end of the process at 99% I got an error. I freaked out. Immediately cleared DTCs and fired up the car. Tried to flash again as the error stated but got a new error saying that there was nothing to update. Drives perfectly fine and I have S-Sport and LC. Does the flash run a teach-in at the end of the process? Should I be concerned? Only thing I find weird is when driving in S-Sport mode if I don't downshift early enough the clutches will disengage completely until I give the car gas. I did change the HW-NAME and SW-Name in the teach-in section of the flpart file to match my car.

Ok so I got everything up and running as stated in the re flash guide. I have a 2009 Mitsu Ralliart.
ECU: 8631A513 S/W: 8631A5130C

I was able to reflash with the 2009 Ralliart folder. I wanted to see if someone can advise me on how exactly to get the SST S-sport & launch control.

I did read everything but for some reason thats the only thing i'm not sure one what file should I really be using. There is also 2 flpart in the folder for the ralliart. Not sure which one i was really suppose to use. Any guidance or direction on this would be great.

I tried the 2009 - 2012 Evo X cff and they flpart and I still don't have SST S-Sport mode.
used 8631B001_dio30.cff and 8631B001_dio30.flpart and I tried dio301.flpart and neither added them added the S-Sport mode

The car took the 2 files and did the flash correctly. Any advice?

Are you SURE you don't have it? You have to put the car in park with the engine running and press and HOLD the normal/sport-mode-switch for at least 5 seconds in order to get it to display "S-Sport" mode on the dashboard.

^^ I wouldn't bother with the launch control, burns out the clutches quicker. The fluid overheats quickly since we don't have good enough transmission cooling.

Also it only really is worth while if you want to launch hard for 60' times.
