Ok. I have windows 8. Went into ResEdit and did what I was told but when I added the doc file or whatever it is the same passthru can with one option popped up. Also it won't download to the 32 bit only the 64 bit what in the hell am I doing wrong? I've done the gst basemap and I'm pretty savvy on comps but this is irritating.

Notice an error (maybe?) in the PDF file on page 22 of "Registry Key Fix for Free Use!"
Step one said the location of the reg. that need to be updated is located at:
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Wow6432Node\WCGD_NA
Should be:
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WCGD_NA
Wow6432Node directory is a separate directory with no CGDInstVer. I was confused on why when login prompt displayed. Checked your screenshot and notice the error.

So just got done flashing using B001 and it said complete. Cleared DTC using ecuflash. Restart car and no S-Sport..... did I miss something?
Also, first time around it got to 99% and said error reprogramming. Second time around was when it completed successfully.

S-SPORT and LC work just fine
can't comment on rev hunt just yet but i've got 2500kms to drive through the canadian rocky mountains in the next week so i'm sure i'll hit just about every scenerio possible so i'll have a good report then

Ok. I did everything. Had some registry crashes come up and had to do some comp work so watch out for something like that happening with win 8 and a few other crazy glitches. To say the least this is one serious software upgrade. Started off with a few issues like not being able to use launch control without the trans overheating or doing fast take offs without it happening but I did the teach in and that was a big difference and I only have 32k miles on the car. The flash is kinda scary, especially ssport mode and the way it shifts at 7k and no less lol. The trans characteristics have changed a lot and compared to the other modes normal is exactly that. I have this done in addition to the stock pill gst basemap and I will say this is a whole nother car. Definitely a great upgrade. I don't know about a rev hunt but I do have a different shift point into 6th (45 instead of 40) but it seems normal and if I coast down to 40 it remains in sixth so no odd symptoms I think it's just where the MR TCU is programmed to shift. They both have the same final drives so I'm assuming the tcu should compensate somewhat for the slightly different gear ratios and that's why it's shifting a tad late.

I got the plausibility to work then the next on the guid was "shift fork something or other" and I kept getting errors. Shut off the ignition then tried to start it and I got the SERVICE AWD yellow screen of death! Also the engine wouldn't rev at all. Car was in limp mode. Luckily I cleared the DTCs with ecuflash and it went away. I'm personally not going to mess with the teach in again.

I've learned to "drive around" the rev hunt. I don't know what the TCU is doing to cause it but I'm thinking it's slipping the clutches because the 5th and 6th gear ratios are different in the Ralliart vs the MR to find the proper RPM for the current speed/load/rpm since the TCU thinks it's an MR one now. I'm not sure about that though. Just a guess.

Did you make sure your laptop had a full charge or was plugged up? I did the stroke teach in and it was doing it for like twenty minutes and I had to shut everything down. Car wouldn't rev or anything until I restarted the car. Plugged in my laptop and tried again and all was well. Oh and don't forget that the brake pedal has to be pressed (or depressed) dead batteries are the debil
