without warning tonight, get in the car, starts but really oddly, like it had trouble. Later on go to start it, it starts but immediate sputtering between 500-1500 rpm in idle, engine light comes on and hasn't stopped since. Stalls in reverse. No ideas and can't do much until garage opens Monday, thoughts??? Already checked vac line and bov

 

I would say check the codes but I'm gonna assume you don't have a reader. Any questionable gas recently?

 

When you say vacuum line, you checked the one at the fuel pressure regulator? Local auto parts store should at least be able to scan the code for you, for now.
