I looked into your shop but it's a bit far away for me. Would take a weekend trip or something which incurs a lot of extra cost and time. But if it's my only option I may have to make the trip. You can email me at kpete879(at)att(dot)net if you'd like.

Talked to a local guy with an EVO IX. He vouched up and down for CBRD and of I have to take it there I will. I've already sent them a message on their site.
I'm going to go ahead and swap out this bov with an OEM EVO x metal one. Found one on eBay for 90$ so about to buy it. What can it hurt?
I had a service engine soon light yesterday with the "lean" code. Removed the MAF and made sure it was clean. Reset the ECU and then put a hundred miles on the car. Took it to Echeck today that I was sure it would fail and it passed!
I'm hoping this bov is causing a lot of the problems. I think it's leaking and can't handle the boost that this car is tuned to.

Will keep plugging away.

I've never seen one of these, but I really hope everything goes well.

Installed a new oem EVO bov. Car runs dramatically different. No more flutter or squishy pedal. It still has the knock sensor go off every so often so I'm still probably going to take it to CBRD at some point to get re-tuned. Otherwise I'm happy with it and am ready for some nicer weather to enjoy it.
