Me and my buddy are going to be installing all of this next week. I will be sure to keep you guys updated and take pics of the install and parts when I get them, I will also be taking a few vids so you can hear how this set up sounds. I cant wait to get these parts!

Thanks to Dan Marco at AMS if you need anything give him a call hes the man, his extension is 2025

LETS TEAR DOWN!! lol as they say on Trick my truck
These pics were taken with my blackberry becasue thats all I had handy at the time

so here are a few pics that I took of the tear down was real easy, only par thats tricky is getting the stock air tube off of the turbo itself, its way down there hard to get to. but I got it

frist take out the stock battery, and the stock ram scoop

will look like this after

Next undue the two clamps that hold the lower tube to the bov, if you notice the little yellow line you will have to cut an inch off of this end later on.

when you get teh bov and tubes out of the way it will look like this.

Next you have to take out the stock air box its held in with one 10mm bolt, easy to do..

Here is the boost controler it was bolted onto the stock air box just undo the 3 10mm bolts easy as pie.

Here is the brains of the car the ECU i will be mailing this off shortly for my reflash

And wala time to take a break and wait for my parts to get here tomarow! I will keep you guys posted as progess is made.

okay so taking the air tube off of the turbo was a pain in the butt, due to where my bolt for the clamp was, somehow I manged to put a 10mm socket on the bolt that was on the bottom not the top of the tube and undid it took forever, but tis off YES!!!!!! so happy, time for some AMS parts! should be here tomarrow. here are some pics of the turbo

where the yellow rag is, thats the turbo

and u can see the wastegate
time to take a break, teardown complete

Dont you have to send your ECU in for your flash before you install the intake? Still good job on doing to play by play. Or you could have opted for the tactrix cable and a laptop and been good to do the flash yourself. Thats if the option was available to you.
I could have done the flash myself but I have no idea how to. Yes u should if your going to drive the car, but im not its just going to sit until I get the ecu back on wednesday, thanks you for the comments, will keep you all posted

Just to make sure I got MY ecu back, I took the time to engrave my initials on the back of it

And the last part that i had to take out was the stock boost pill, you can see how small it is, its the little black dot.
