just got back from the track. i think there was much more in it, but tonight i had it at 35psi and 11.8 afr's. car seemed to be happy there. i tried 36 on backroads as i was tuning it and it didnt feel like it responded well to more boost.. so dunno if theres a leak or what but it seems to be happiest at 35psi.

got 2 passes in. went for a 3rd, but the throttle cable stuck during burnout and i wasnt sure if i broke a axle or what so i turned the car off.. when i turned it back on all was normal. so the throttle body just stuck open.. but track officials said i couldnt go until i inspected the throttle linkage. so put on stock tires/wheels and drove it home.

Heres video of both passes and heres the slip. I did take out the seats this time also.

heres the 10.83 vid:

heres the 11.02 vid:

Nice runs Tom. Kind of a strange issue in regards to the throttle cable sticking open. Let us know what if anything you find wrong.

10.8 not bad . Work on that shifting and you should be in the low 10s. Have you tried NLTS?

throttle cable stuck because of how its routed inside the ABS hard lines i guess. ill change it around. If you watched my SD video, you will hear me mention about the gas pedal get stiff sometimes.. well thats because i need to reroute the cable so its got more flexibility.

these are lift shifts.. did not try NLTS.. never tried NLTS at the track before.

theres more in the car by a lot.. ill have the s3 test done by the end of the week.

put the s3 in today.. car feels a lot nicer overall all around. its still snappy, it still spools the same as it did on the kelford 272.

hitting it at 3000RPM in 3rd it will see 36 by 4200 as it sits right now.

heres a before & after with no tuning done for the s3 yet WOT.. the afr was around 12.8 uptop on the s3 so need to richen it out and might make even more.

i got a solid 40whp id say. it is very noticeable.

video of idle. 5min of ve tuning to dial in afr.. on direct swap the afr was 12's as opposed to the kelfords being 14-15.

Car needs a dump still. Nice results. Powerband looks perfect for a drag car.

Sounds real nice. Power just keeps going up. Have you taken it higher in the RPM range to see where the HP peaks? To what RPM are you comfortable taking it?

How do you figure? Not everyone wants a loud *** obnoxious sounding car, and he makes really good spool, so what would a o2 dump add that he doesn't already have?
