BR 2.3 - FP Black DBB - 36psi - E85
ya i have a few pulls with the old one on. it definitely changed the torque curve a little.
I was saying i am not going to waste my time vd'ing the car anymore. I'm taking it to the track this weekend i think. dec 1st.

I'm going to this Saturday. I didn't have enough time to get the Hoosiers on and plugs changed last Saturday.
Hopefully it doesn't rain.

unfortunately came back.. did not make it back to the track this year.
also had a wristpin failure so im rebuilding the engine now.

i did update. i edited the last post i made. the new driveshaft is super smooth.
i ran into a fueling issue again causing the car to go extremely lean WOT. pressure switch malfunctioning (possibly) and possible pump failure again. the problem was intermittent which leaves me to believe it was the pressure switch.
the entire fuel system is being tested right now so ill have flow test results of the pumps shortly. im replacing almost all parts as well for safety.
i was ready to get it to the track, did some pulls on the street, ran into that issue. brought the car back home inspected it, then connected it to the laptop and logged it. i heard a ticking noise which was most likely the wristpin broken at the time, but decided to do full throttle and the piston failed completely. I didnt even care at the time. I was so pissed off the lean issue came back right at the last minute when i wanted to go to the track for the tracks last day open of the year.
pistons had 20k miles on them. its ok. im rebuilding a new engine now. ill have a new setup in the next month or less. decided to go with wiseco hd 1400 series this time.
it is crappy i did not get to see what it could have trapped at its peak power level, but its all apart of the game. parts don't last forever. those were 20k brutal miles. 90% weekend warrior miles.
if you want to follow the progress go here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...-has-come.html
im doing a temporary 2.4L though while i build my 2.2LR billet engine. it'll be a very interesting year for me. im gonna try to do some crazy stuff with this temporary 2.4 i put in for a test dummy engine.
