My FP Black
If you have the time just do it right and get the correct outlet pipe. I was tempted on cutting the race pipe also but then I wouldnt have the boost nipple for my synapse bov c-port.

Or do you think I should get a stock IX compressor outlet pipe?

[quote=binky;8247806]Yeah? I think your right. It will be a lot easier to cut the LICP than the compressor outlet pipe.
Or do you think I should get a stock IX compressor outlet pipe?
Correct. Just cut the LICP to the correct length. Don't need to do anything to the race pipe.
I would keep the race pipe. It is larger than the IX J pipe

Ok -
I cut the intercooler pipe after getting a good measurement. I will post the measurements once I have a chance to go back out to the garage and add them to the first post - so people won't have to do what I did.
I spoke with my mechanic and he said he will put a roll bead in the pipe for free
I am also am in the process of painting my valve cover - so far so good. I glass beaded it yesterday and primed it today.
I drilled a hole and welded in a SS bung into my downpipe for my wideband.
I took off my Megan exhaust manifold and it was cracked in about 15 different spots, so I ordered a ported and polished stock exhaust manifold from MAP.
Slowly but surely I'm getting there. I am making a list of everything I've learned and everything I had to go through to get this build done so people get an idea of how much work it takes to do this job done right

Yeah - If I was going to do it, I would have to do it myself, as I already ordered it from MAP.

No problem guys
Glass beading is a great way to get abrasive into your motor, and it's almost impossible to get out of a valve cover...
