So I read through the forums and I completely understand that brake boosting is bad for my transmission but any reason as to why my revs get limited to 3000 rpm? It's almost like launch control. And I haven't gotten the "Transmission Overheating" warning doing this yet.

And is there any way to fix the hang between 1st and 2nd? I'm running the v2.6 2011 93 octane boostpill pre-release.

Other than that, this map is amazing. Bryan's the ****ing man

it is. However, the power band isn't very big at the higher numbers. you basically end up with high peak power numbers with a narrow RPM range where the power is made.

So I'm trying to get the boost pill from GST and my browser keeps coming up with a warning that the website has an invalid/expired security certificate. I suppose it is safe to ignore since nobody has posted about anything fishy with GST, but has anyone else recieved this warning?

This is the page I'm going through:

Word... I wonder if there's any fix for this yet, that's the only issue I've found with the basemap.

Are you running windows7? I had no problem with their site on a Mac. But I did get the security warning on my windows7 pc. I think it is just a windows7 thing and you dont need to worry about it.

I want to reflash to factory stock map for winter, but is it possible to reflash it to latest "factory" version, not the original one? I have 2009 53610009 rom. Look like 2010 53610013 is slightly different. Is it better? Is it possible to flash 53610013 version on 2009 RA?

You want to flash it to the latest ROM # for *your* model year. If you have a 2009, you use the latest 2009 ROM #.

Yeah, but if I change table values manually in 2009 ROM with 2010 ROM values and reflash it as 2009 ROM is it make any good? Why some table values between model years is different? Is it because Mitsubishi performed better factory tune? I think that hardware is the same anyway or I'm wrong.

Hey All,

We have been working hard behind the scenes on the next version of the basemaps. Richard has put a ton of time into these. There are some great new additions and changes.

What we need now is some final testing out in the world.

This is a open call for testing. We need people available to test the following: (notice some new basemap variants in the list below)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2009 USDM/CADM - 91 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2009 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2009 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + AEM intake
2009 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + TBE
2009 EDM/AUS - 98 RON - Boost Pill Upgrade

2010 USDM/CADM - 91 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2010 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2010 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + AEM intake
2010 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + TBE
2010 EDM/AUS - 98 RON - Boost Pill Upgrade

2011 USDM/CADM - 91 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2011 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade
2011 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + AEM intake
2011 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - Boost Pill Upgrade + TBE
2011 EDM/AUS - 98 RON - Boost Pill Upgrade

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You need to have the ability to log with Evoscan. A loggable wideband is a huge plus but not mandatory.

Please let me know!

Damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The car loaded down and I'm headed to Spokane in a couple days. If you dont get anyone to jump at the 2009 91 oct by next week I'll help you out. Dont know if the test pipe and exhaust would jack up the logging though.

Bryan, you are the man! If only I had a high flow cat and aftermarket downpipe I'd be happy to test the 2011 USDM 93 w/boost pill + TBE.

Does this mean you'll be offering an official basemap for those with a full turboback system in the future? That would be SWEET.
