newbie to the AEM...one question
How do you copy maps to and from the EMS to your laptop? Sorry for the stupid question as i just got my AEM installed recently and still havent had a chance to mess around that much yet. Thanks.
Step1 : Once you have the cable connected to your laptop with the car igniton in the ACC On position (not started or running) open up the AEM pro application on the laptop.
Download

Next Hit SHIFT+F7 and it will connect to the ECU and download the map. Once the map is pulled up click the file menu at the top and choose save as to save the map.
Upload

To upload a new map you use SHIFT+F8 after you do step 1

Do not load someone elses map if it wasn't tuned for your car. Each car is different.
