AIT sensor bung

Can i just drill and thread the AIT sensor into my UICP or is the bung a must have. Reason i ask is bought my aem ems used, so the bung was not included.

I'd suggest you buy a bung just from the standpoint of avoiding a leak. It shouldn't cost more than $20 for the bung and $20 to get it welded in place.
