Gas in my town has averaged $3.00/gal. = too much for me
what are you doing within your cal file to get you better fuel economy?
I am about to re-install my oem boost solenoid....Yes, it works for me: oem turbo not boosting more than 23 psi =>>>> install a 0.040" restrictor out of my boost source before the "T" feeding my boost solenoid & w/g actuator
besides reduced rev's, staying off boost & running a 15.5 a/f target, what have you guys found to get you better fuel economy?
currently i am getting about 220 miles/13gallons @ 100% city driving...if my wife drives, then it's about 100 miles per tank....she's a boost junky

Try only driving downhill with a tailwind. That should help.
You could also get a tow rope and attach it to that big deisel in front of you at the traffic light. You might get lucky and get towed where you're going.

I run 16 to 1 on my car at 15-10 in/hg @ 75 mph. 10-5 in/hg @ 75, i run 15.5 to 1. and 5-0 in/hg @75 i run 15 to 1. All i run is 100 octane also. I get about 325 per tank. 90% of my driving is on the interstate. The second i hit the gas, my AFR's are down into the 11.2 to 1 range. And i NEVER floor it with out downshifting.

well i tried 16.5 & 17.0 on the freeway the other night. suprisingly, the car felt ok.
data suggested there wasnt additional throttle input required to go 70mph!
city driving didnt feel extremely bad either. yeah, you can feel the car being somewhat lazy, but not to bad. my afr target gets back to normal once the plenum reaches a positive pressure.
However, i do not have a egt gauge, so i dont know how hot my exhuast get's...
does anyone have / know how warm their exhaust get's when running fairly lean while @ freeway cruising engine speed's of ~3200 +/- 300 rpm?
btw, I am running ~27 deg of timing while cruising.
I will post my city driving mpg when i go through this tank. Right now i am above 1/2 tank @ 98 miles......this is all city driving except for the 2 miles i put on the freeway to get a feel as mentioned above.

I dont pay attenetion to gas mileage, when its low fill it up. I use o2 feed back w/ the ems 14.7 -15.0 to 1 cruising. Smash the gas and the gas gauge drops. Its my play car so it dosent concern me. You want play you will pay.
Ok. I thought I was the only one concerned. I am completely stock and I got 215 for 12.XX gallons. I'm planning on getting my EMS in a few weeks with a 255 and 850+ injectors. hope the ems will put me in the 250-280 range. I can live with that.
Injector timing plays a large role in fuel economy. I still need to do more work in this space. I run 15.2:1 at cruise and I believe I am also at 27 degrees or so. On my last long highway trip I got 27 miles per gallon. A couple things worth mentioning:
Quoting the number of miles you get to a tank is worthless. People fill up at different points, you need to know how many gallons you are using. Fill up until the pump auto-stops (and reset your trip odometer), and do the same the next time you fill up. Note the number of gallons used on the pump's display and do the math.
Even at 16:1 while cruising, you simply are not buring enough fuel to generate EGT numbers worth worrying about. The miniscule amount of fuel you are using can't provide the energy needed to do damage, IMO.
I need to try raising the timing while cruising too. IIRC, the stock ECU puts timing up in the low to mid 30s.
